Altheon develops and owns solar PV plants in the Italian mid-market. Built by a developer, not by consultants. Based in Legnago (VR), working nationally.
What we do
Source sites, permit them, build the plants, and hold them in dedicated SPVs. We monetise the energy through PPAs, market sales, or CER configurations where the site supports it.
In parallel we build the tools we use ourselves — AIP Engine to structure project dossiers, CER-Ops to run energy communities. They are operating products, not sales decks. Third-party advisory is what we do when a counterparty needs someone who knows the craft.

Worked the full project lifecycle — origination, permitting, construction, M&A due diligence — before founding Altheon in 2025 to develop his own plants.
Works with a network of specialist partners (engineers, lawyers, EPC, O&M, software) selected project by project. The point of contact stays one.
Operating model
Altheon is the holding-developer. Each plant lives in its own SPV. We activate external partners — engineering, legal, EPC, O&M, financing — only when needed. No heavy structures, no unnecessary overhead.
For advisory clients this means: one contact, real depth where it counts, no opaque chain of sub-contractors.

A PV plant runs for 25-30 years. We structure it to hold up beyond the incentive period.
FAQ
We develop PV plants in the mid-market — typically 500 kWp – 20 MWp, ground-mount or industrial rooftops. We select sites on techno-economic grounds, permit them, build them and keep the asset in production. As a secondary activity we advise investors and asset owners who need the operating experience.
Yes. The Italian PV market has its own specifics — regional permitting, grid dynamics, CER, bilateral PPAs — and that is our area of competence. The site is bilingual because some of our offtakers and investors are non-Italian.
