AIP Engine. Structured due diligence on infrastructure project data.
AIP Engine is Altheon's first platform product. It ingests unstructured project data packages — the PDFs, spreadsheets and scans that every investor, lender and asset manager receives — and produces a standardized, machine-readable Dossier Digitale Strutturato (DDS) that can actually be diligenced, compared and consumed by downstream systems.

The problem
Project data arrives with no shape.
Every acquisition, every refinancing, every bankability review begins with the same experience: a data room of dozens or hundreds of PDFs, Excel files and scanned documents, organized by the seller's internal logic, not by anything a buyer can actually diligence.
The analytical work that follows is rebuilt from scratch every time. The diligence memos land on the buyer's desk as narrative PDFs. None of the underlying structured data survives into the portfolio monitoring system. Two months later, the same analytical pass has to be run again for another deal.
Infrastructure capital does not have a data problem. It has a shape problem.
The approach
A structured dossier as a first-class artifact.
AIP Engine produces a Dossier Digitale Strutturato (DDS) — a structured output that conforms to a well-defined schema of the objects that matter in a renewable or infrastructure project.
Ingest any format
PDFs, Excel, images, scans, photographs. Multi-document data rooms processed in one pass, including OCR on scanned material.
Classify and extract
AI-assisted classification into the schema, then field-level extraction of values with per-cell confidence scoring and source linking back to original documents.
Reconcile and review
Cross-document reconciliation and inline review UI for the analyst to confirm, correct or override extracted values before sign-off.
Risk-map generation
Automated generation of a first-pass risk register from the structured data, organized by severity and technology.
Export as a standard
Signed-off dossier exports as branded PDF, JSON or via a shareable link — consumable by downstream risk models and portfolio systems.
Built for the analyst
The product is designed around the workflow of the human analyst running the diligence, not around pipe-dream autonomy. AI accelerates, humans decide.
Who it's for
Built around the three buyers of project data.
Investors
Acquisition-side teams running technical and regulatory diligence on single assets or portfolios. AIP Engine compresses the structuring pass that would otherwise consume the first two weeks of every deal.
Lenders
Project-finance teams sizing debt against bankability criteria. A structured dossier plugs directly into the internal credit model — no more re-keying from narrative memos.
Asset managers
Post-acquisition asset management and portfolio monitoring. Onboarding new mandates becomes a structured data ingestion, not an administrative exercise.
Engagement model
Managed or bespoke.
AIP Engine is available today in two modes — both by referral, with Altheon as the operator.
Managed per engagement
We run AIP Engine on your data room for a single transaction. You receive the signed-off DDS in PDF and JSON. Altheon owns infrastructure, operations and analyst review.
Bespoke deployment
For teams with recurring diligence volume, we deploy AIP Engine into an environment you control (managed cloud or on-prem), with schema extensions and integrations scoped to your workflow.
