How Altheon S.R.L.S. processes personal data collected through this website.

This Privacy Policy describes how Altheon S.R.L.S. (“Altheon”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data collected through this website in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian law.
The data controller is Altheon S.R.L.S., registered office at Via Gioachino Rossini 109, 37045 Legnago (VR), Italy, VAT 05142670230, PEC altheon@pec.it. Michele Pravadelli, sole administrator, is the designated point of contact for data-protection inquiries.
When you contact us through the forms on this site we collect the personal data you provide (name, work email, organization, role, country, message content, and, where applicable, website URL). When you subscribe to the newsletter we collect your email address. The IP address the submission comes from is included in the internal notification we receive and retained with the request, for security and abuse-prevention purposes. Server logs may capture request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for the same purpose.
The fields marked as required in the forms are necessary to handle your request: without them we cannot reply. Any other field is optional. Subscribing to the newsletter is always optional and can be withdrawn at any time.
We process this data to respond to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: pre-contractual measures), to manage the newsletter subscription (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR: consent), and to protect the site from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interest). We do not use the data for profiling or automated decision-making.
Inquiry data is retained for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and for the statute-of-limitations period under Italian civil law. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are rotated at short intervals.
Two processors handle this data, each appointed under a written agreement restricting use to the contracted services: Vercel Inc. (site hosting) and Resend (transactional email dispatch). We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not disclose it to any other third party.
Both processors are United States entities, so the data collected through the forms is transferred to the United States. The transfer is governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, together with the applicable supplementary measures. You can request a copy by writing to info@altheon.it.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw any consent at any time. Requests can be directed to info@altheon.it or to the PEC address. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali.
